The Role

This is a senior analytics role working within the analysis team to deliver cutting edge analytics and insights for many of the UK's leading brands. Creating value for our clients through the hands on design, delivery and presentation of customer analysis is the heart of the role. The role will also involve working closely with colleagues across the wider business to develop analytic propositions and products using the internal data available.

As part of the Strategy 'hub' you will work closely with colleagues from Planning, Solutions Design and Client Services to ensure that we are providing best in class solutions to the client with the data analytics fuelling the insight in those solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Creating added value for clients through the delivery of customer analysis and business reporting projects including: experimental design, designing analysis and campaign frameworks, retail sales analysis, campaign response analysis, ROI modelling.
- Delivering statistical models such as: segmentation, regression and other propensity models, decision trees and other mathematical models. Assessing and determining the correct modelling approach for each project is vital.
- Data mining internal data to develop analytic propositions that we can offer to clients.
- Presenting analysis to internal and external clients both verbally and in written reports.
- Assisting clients and agency staff to commission, understand, and leverage analysis projects to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of their marketing activity and meet their challenges.
- Grow knowledge and understanding of current and emerging industry technologies as well as the company toolsets available within the team.
- Work with the wider strategy team and other staff to engage with prospects and clients to win new business. You will be expected to be comfortable interacting with clients through the creation of proposals and tenders and the creation and delivery of presentations and pitches.
- Attend analysis team meetings and ensure that personal reporting and that your administration responsibilities are maintained on a daily basis.
- To assist all other departments in such a way that all the teams within the business operate as a cohesive effective unit.
- Undertake to comply with the Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) and its associated policies.
- To perform any other duties which may be required from time to time.

Technical Qualities

Required Skills/Experience

- A minimum of 4-6 years customer analysis experience; ideally with experience of working within an agency or professional services environment.
- A minimum of graduate level statistical and / or marketing analysis qualifications. Postgraduate qualifications are a preference.
- An inquisitive mind with the creativity and flexibility to identify the right solution to business problems.
- An eye for detail, a passion for ensuring that every deliverable is perfect, and a belief that errors are a learning opportunity that should happen only once.
- An ability to translate statistical and analytic facts into marketing understanding.
- Excellent hands on analysis skills delivering analysis that drove profitable outcomes. Experience should include, customer segmentations, predictive analysis, campaign targeting, and response analysis.
- Strong coding skills in SPSS, SAS, or SQLsupported with strong industry experience.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Desirable Skills / Experience

- Experience with CRM and Data Mining technologies such as SDL Alterian, FastStats, or IBM Marketing Cloud / Unica.
- Coding skills in either R or Python.
- Experience with the creation and deployment of visual reports using technologies such as Tableau.
- Experience with econometric or marketing mix modelling for attribution and planning.
- Good project management skills.
- Experience in an agency of other marketing services supplier environment.
