Planning, Development and Regeneration division

£45,000 - £55,000 + Comprehensive benefits package

Our client's established and busy Planning team has an exciting opportunity for a talented, dynamic and established Planner to join their team to manage medium and large scale projects, primarily in the Housing sector.

The opportunity

Working as part of a large and driven team you will manage the delivery of medium to large scale projects independently, primarily in the Housing sector. Acting as the primary point of contact for the Client and setting up / running multi-disciplinary teams you will also manage, coach and support more junior members of the team.

This will include undertaking planning appraisals, negotiating and obtaining planning permission and advising on all aspects of planning policy, design requirements, mix of uses and planning conditions. The business also provide expert witness advice.

Job requirements

The successful candidate will hold/be able to demonstrate;


-Minimum of 5 years PQE experience, ideally with strong Housing experience.

-You will have strong problem solving skills and be highly analytical and numerate

-Good verbal communicator and interpersonal skills

-Excellent report writing and presenting abilities

-Ambitious and enthusiastic

-An effective negotiator;

-Ability / desire to win new business.
