Role:

The Bristol commercial sales team continues to win more business and, in order to surpass their customers' expectations they now have an exciting career opportunity for a talented Sales Support Manager to be responsible for a team of Internal Account Managers and Sales Administrators based at their Bristol office.

Key responsibilities include:

- To understand the customer base and to be aware of all planned projects within the customer base and any specific customer requirements or contracted service levels .

- To allocate resources between accounts and ensure cover for holidays and sickness .

- To recruit , train , mentor and develop team members .

- Ensure the highest levels of customer service.

- To ensure all orders , tasks , quotes and other requests are responded to within a timely manner

- Manage the team's productivity and ensure team performance is optimised.

- Track progress in relation to quotes, orders, returns , credits , aged debt , stock holdings etc..

- Monitor and evaluate win/loss ratio's , account growth , profitability etc.

- Ownership of customer challenges and concerns.

Regular team meeting and communication focusing on , performance , key issues , sharing of information , process improvement , quality concerns , training needs , team feedback etc

Skills, Knowledge & Experience needed :

- Supervisory/management /team leading experience of internal sales support staff gained in a sales driven environment.

- Understanding of HR policies and individual performance indicators.

- Strong commercial/business acumen.

- Professional and personable attitude with excellent communication skills
