Technical Support Application Analyst (Systems Analyst SQL System Support Credit Risk Counterparty Basell II Pillar II Capital Markets Moody's Analytics Business Analysis Banking Finance Economic Capital) required by my banking client in London.

You MUST have the following:

- Excellent SQL experience - ability to write queries
- Experience working as an technical application support analyst
- good understanding of database structures (forms of SQL, Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE), Business Objects)

The following is DESIRABLE:

- credit risk application experience / understanding counterparty risk applications (Basel II, PillarII, Economic Capital), configure changes,
- Good knowledge of credit controls, capital models, credit risk, stress-testing, Basel II, Basel III regulation, regulatory requirements
- Business Analysis experience - ability to take business requirements for new or improved functionality, User Acceptance Testing / UAT experience

Role: Technical Application Support Analyst (SQL) for a bank in London, supporting counterparty Risk / credit risk applications. Financial/Banking experience is desirable NOT essential.

You will be part of a global team of four but the only London based member, supporting 5 local members of the business. There may be one week of travel in the first 6 months to aid your integration and training. The implementation of the counter-party risk application, Moody's Analytics, went live in July and so far consists of the Risk Authority module. It will expand to include three other modules including Economic Capital (RiskFrontier) and Pillar II.

Excellent SQL experience is essential. You will be required to configure changes to the system and query with SQL. As new packages and calculations are released by Moody's, you will be required to roll these out to the users.

Experience in a similar role in a small environment would be best suited to this position. The responsibilities will be wide ranging and the successful candidate will need to be comfortable to learn quickly and fulfil a broad selection of tasks.

The role will begin as 70/30 support to business analysis as the users learn the system. This will become 50/50 after 6 months. This is an excellent opportunity to learn/ further develop business analysis skills.

Salary: £45 - 65k + 10% pension + 20-30% bonus
