Morson International is pleased to offer this fantastic role on behalf of our client, which is currently seeking to recruit a 1st Line IT Service Desk Analyst who will be based in Manchester, UK on a permanent basis.

Provide 1st line service desk support to internal users and demonstrate a driven mentality to develop skills in order to improve service and efficiency. Full training will be provided and excellent possibilities to develop within the organisation.

Candidates should have the following knowledge and skills:
-Excellent and proven customer service skills
-Desire to work in a fast moving service desk environment
-Strong verbal and written communication skills
-A positive and enthusiastic individual with a desire to innovate and improve
-Windows Operating Systems
-Microsoft Office Packages
-Active Directory
-General PC hardware maintenance

Tasks and Responsibilities:
-Resolve service/support calls and emails
-Provide users with a single contact point for all their IT needs
-Provide users with technical support/assistance and report service issues in accordance with the Service Desk policies
-Stakeholder management - customer liaison at multiple levels
-Provide high-quality customer service
-Take end-to-end ownership of all Incidents and Service Requests
-Perform First Time Fix where possible, via technical fix or provision of information/guidance
-Monitor the progress of all Incidents and Service Requests logged
-Adhere to agreed SLA's

Location: Manchester
Working Hours: 37.5 hours Monday - Friday
Salary: £19,000 - £21,000 per annum - plus benefits
