Food & Beverage Manager - Stunning Historic Venue - Role Responsibility

An opportunity has arisen to join their team as a Food and Beverage. My client require a manager to ensure that sensational service is provided to each and every guest and to ensure that all team members are developed to their full potential. The role requires a strong management style, with previous experience in a hotel or a leisure and conference venue essential.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Recruit, manage, train and develop employees to achieve their potential
  • Demonstrate a proactive response with regards learning & development through being consistent, enthusiastic and flexible to people management
  • Ensure all employees deliver a truly exceptional level of service, anticipating and exceeding customer expectations and maximising the guest experience
  • To work with the General Manager ensuring financial accountabilities are achieved and P&L expectations met
  • Continually develop your knowledge of the industry and all competitors and looking for opportunities to ensure business growth, maximising profit, margin and turnover in all areas of the venue
  • Lead employees to meet the organisations expectations for productivity, quality and targets
  • Promote a spirit of team engagement and unity amongst all employees to ensure harmonisation across all departments
  • Ensure the smooth running of the restaurant, banqueting and bars departments
  • Ensure that stock controls are in place and adhered to
