Position Summary (Purpose):

Machine Build Engineer to assemble bespoke machinery with a level of machine control wiring.

Essential Functions: To work as a member of a team assembling and developing machines in accordance with prescribed specification and instructions and designs. To carry out development work on the machines as part of an engineering team to create the agreed solution. Multi-skilled trained in electrical and mechanical to BTEC level.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Undertake the assembly, development of sub-assemblies and machines from engineering drawings in build in the factory during all phases of the build.
- To carry out machining to engineering drawings as required.
- Working as part of a team and individually both in the factory and at customer's sites to assemble and develop machines and engineering solutions in the UK and worldwide.
- Learn and observe relevant procedures associated with the company's quality systems.
- Observe and adhere to company policies in respect of health and safety, The Health and Safety at Work Act and the COSHE regulations.
- Maintain the highest standards of housekeeping at all times.
- Other such duties within the spirit and scope of this jobs remit. To carry out maintenance and service on LBFA installations throughout Europe.

Minimum Qualifications:

- 4-year Mechanical /Electrical Apprenticeship
- BTEC or equivalent level

Other Requirements:

- Understanding of variety of electronic sensors
- Good understanding of simple pneumatic function
