Data Quality Manager
Location - Newark, Nottinghamshire
Salary - £35,000 to £40,000

A fast paced, growing company are looking for a Data Quality Manager to be a key part in the Data and Analytics team. You will be working to manage the data quality and integrity of the company's new in-house databases. You will also be monitoring, checking and validating the data flows across the data warehouse. This role will be the key to putting data at the heart of the business.

Key Responsibilities
? Manage the data quality and integrity. This includes being responsible for managing and monitoring, checking and validating various data flows across the data warehouse. You will have direct access to the databases and you will be gathering data and providing the business with analysis to directors and managers to enable then to make customer driven decisions and improvements
? Data Governance and Protection - You be introducing a new data governance framework, including data security, definitions, policies, rules and protection. This will include the full implementation of the policies and procedures; this includes taking business strategies factors into account.
? Managing Stakeholders - You will be increasing data awareness across the business. You will be managing data across multiple functions of the business and working in collaboration with various other team members including coaching and mentoring other team members.
? Reporting and analysis - Creating daily analysis on the output of data management solutions. Providing the business with data quality dashboards and flagging issues that arise.
? Development and improvement - Strive to drive continual data development and improvement. Work closely with other key induvial across the business to drive a list of requirements for ongoing fixes.

Essential Skills
? Experience in managing the procedures and policies aligned with the data protection act.
? Proven experience as a senior data quality specialist within a large organisation
? Good communication skills
? Experience of data quality solutions and methodologies
? Strong passion for continuous improvement
? Knowledge of SQL, Advanced Excel and Access
? Track record in Data Quality measurement and improvement
? High attention to detail with strong problem solving skills and an analytical brain
