My client is a highly regarded insurance comparison company that has been providing services to the top insurers for over 4 years.

Based out of their office in Central London, we're looking for Senior UX / Front End Developers with the ability to build and maintain their high quality software components using Agile methodologies in D2C and B2B websites across mobile and web.

You will own the UX Function within the company and champion UX design both internally and externally.

Qualifications & Expertise
* Qualified to degree level (2:1 or above)
* Extensive commercial use of AngularJS, ES5/6, JavaScript and JQuery
* Expert in HTML5 and CSS3 (Less or Sass)
* Demonstrable experience using JavaScript build tools
* TDD/Bdd
* Passion to deliver clean, semantic, maintainable, re-usable front-end code
* Excellent eye for detail and finesse in UX design
* Authority on UX theory and best practices and creating simple, intuitive user experiences for customers
* Experience of planning and implementing solutions using Agile development processes such as SCRUM, TDD
* Organised, deadline focused and analytical
* Confident, effective communicator with business customers at all levels including Senior Management
* Ability to deal with non-standard requests/work, often at short notice

Desirable Experience

* Understanding of life insurance industry
* Experience in building JVM based applications at scale
* Knowledge or experience of planning and implementing technologies which use Agile development processes, such as SCRUM
* Experience of templating technologies, ideally Grails

Candidates must have the right to work in the UK and be able to work onsite 5 days a week.
