Salary: £35k OTE

Role Responsibility

Dice is recruiting for an enthusiastic, driven Business Development Executive to join our growing sales team in central London!

Dice is a division of US headquartered DHI (NYSE: DHX) - an industry specific recruitment and insight specialist, operating globally. Having rebranded from The IT Job Board in 2015, we are going through an exciting period of change and growth, and are looking for a sales person to expand our not-for-profit sales team helping service the NHS, education, government and charity sector.

You will have full responsibility for the clients in your patch and will be need to map your market, approach new companies and be a key driver of revenue.

Initially, your focus will be entirely on new business however you will develop and nurture relationships with key accounts which you will be able to grow. The responsibilities for the Business Development Executive will also include in-person meetings to clearly articulate our unique sales proposition, so an engaging, charismatic manner is essential.

As Business Development Executive you will receive training on all aspects of the sales process, and on how to approach clients in the not-for-profit sector. Experience in either of these areas would be a plus, but is not essential.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

- Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales goals
- Network within public sector/not-for-profit companies
- Develop new business, and grow into long-term clients
- Maintain high level of face-to-face meeting activity
- Continuous follow up with clients and customer feedback
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of seniority
- Understand clients' needs and deliver a consultative sales pitch
- Build creative proposals and presentations
