Transform Residential Limited provides a residential service to Ruskin Mill College which has a site in Pembrokeshire based on a 100 acre bio-dynamic farm at the foot of the Preseli Hills.
HEAD OF RESIDENTIAL
Grade 12 £34,950 - £37,750 per annum
(Commencing salary is subject to qualifications and experience)
The core purpose of this role is to provide and manage a range of residential provision who attend the College in the locality. The residential provision may be through a Shared Lives Scheme, managed team houses, home-providers, training flats or others depending on the needs of the customer.
As the Registered Manager and the leader of the residential team you will ensure the effective operation of the residential provision and working directly with the College Principal and Providers, ensure the delivery of a high quality, compliant residential provision which has an extended curriculum programme on offer to the student.
The role will involve developing, leading, managing and sustaining a range of provision in a flexible and collaborative manner ensuring that the requirements of the student, Transform Residential Limited, Ruskin Mill Trust and appropriate regulatory bodies are met.
The post-holder must have the qualifications and skills to be the registered manager, Significant operational experience in a care environment working with all levels of staff and management, high levels of personal resilience, and emotional and social intelligence and ideally have knowledge of Rudolf Steiner Holistic Education with particular reference to the works and insights of John Ruskin and William Morris, or a willingness to undertake training and qualifications up to MSc level in this field.
Welsh language skills would be desirable and due to the location of some of our homes – being a driver with access to your own vehicle would be advantageous. You will be expected to attend training sessions as required by Transform Residential Limited, which may be outside of your usual working hours.
